Going Deep: A Faculty Book Study - Winter 2018

Learner-Centered Teaching: Five Key Changes to Practice (2nd ed)
Author: Maryellen Weimer

Facilitator: Jennifer Boman

Are you interested in exploring learner-centered teaching?

In this book study we will discuss different facets of a learner-centered approach such as roles of the teacher and learner, balance of power, and approaches to assessment and responsibility of learning. You will have the opportunity to discuss with colleagues what these principles mean for you in your own context, with a view to considering how we might continue to evolve our teaching to help support student learning.

Interested colleagues are invited to register for the book study. Registration is limited to 8 participants, each of whom will receive a copy of Learner-Centered Teaching.
