Intended Audience:  The audiences for the workshops below include Academic Chairs, Coordinators and Academic Administrators who will be involved in any way in the Coordinated Scheduling cycle. _____________________________________________________________________________________

Whether you are new to DCU or an old hand at DCU, this two hour workshop is a must see for you. DCU (Data Collection Utility) is the web-based tool used to update Scheduling information for the upcoming Coordinated Scheduling cycle. In this workshop, in preparation for the coordinated scheduling of the Winter 2019 schedule of classes, you will be trained on how to enter scheduling information changes & updates into the web-based software DCU (Data Collection Utility).

If you are unable to attend this workshop or if you prefer a different method of learning about DCU, there are a number of ways to learn about DCU – there is online documentation and training videos in addition to this workshop. Please note: Training on how to plan & prepare the scheduling data changes and updates to be entered into DCU will not be covered in this training session as this is covered with one-on-one meetings with each department. We recommend that you attend the one-on-one scheduled meeting with Scheduling for your department as well as getting training for using DCU.
