In this lunch and learn, faculty participants will examine ways to promote close reading, a process through which learners undertake critical, thoughtful analysis that fosters deeper engagement and understanding of the meaningful details and patterns of texts, images, movies, and more. Participants will explore and discuss strategies to promote close reading through formative or summative activities with their students.
