Do you spend considerable time creating writing assignments but sometimes feel disappointed by what students hand in? In this workshop, we will analyze assignment guidelines and unearth assumptions about students’ prior knowledge and academic skills. We will also discuss options to better prepare students for assignment success. Please bring three copies of one of your assignment handouts to discuss with colleagues.
