Diving Deeper into UDL Series: Session 2: Boosting UDL without the Burnout

Universal Design for Learning can seem overwhelming when you are trying to choose some principles to apply to your courses. In this session, we will discuss the parts of UDL that are easy to implement, and the parts that require a more extensive exploration of your course objectives in order to offer a deeper UDL experience to your students.

In this “diving deeper” series, we will assume participants have a basic understanding of UDL. To learn more about UDL in preparation for this session, you can review this 2-page handout with UDL fundamentals. And for more in-depth information, see this detailed UDL guide from the University of Calgary’s Taylor Institute.
