Peer Evaluation of Teaching: Collective Agreement Mandated Training
Article 28.5.3 of the Collective Agreement between the Board of Governors of Mount Royal University and the Mount Royal Faculty Association requires that all faculty members serving as peer evaluators complete training prior to conducting evaluations. Per Article 18.5.2, "Evaluators shall be Tenured Employees." The current list of those who have completed this training is always available on MyMRU, under the Faculty tab, in the Tenure & Promotion & Peer Evaluation box, or via this link.
This training will be offered twice this year (September and January), through the Office of the Provost with assistance from the Academic Development Centre.
The session will be offered again on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 10:00-11:30 am (registration details will be sent later in fall 2021).
All those wishing to attend are required to register.
