Engaging Students with CATs (Classroom Assessment Techniques)

Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) are ungraded activities that engage students and provide them with feedback about their learning. Different types of CATs can be used for various purposes such as monitoring student comprehension, providing feedback on skills, assessing students’ self-awareness as learners and gauging student reactions to classroom instruction. This workshop will provide an overview and demonstration of several types of CATs.
