At the end of 2022, academics flooded social media with reactions to ChatGPT, a large language model that can generate original, fluent, and structured responses to questions, including undergraduate essay questions. Amidst concerns about academic integrity, many faculty members are already embracing this tool in their classrooms, imagining the pedagogical possibilities it presents.
