Faculty Wellbeing: Healthy Boundaries and Due Diligence in Response to Student Distress

Knowing one's options when responding to student distress can have a positive impact on faculty well-being. This session will review the range of appropriate responses that are sensitive to variations in pedagogy, skills, and personal and professional boundaries. Learn best practices around how to refer students and the many resources available to them. Your experiences of what worked and the challenges you faced, will be a welcome addition to the conversation.
