Experiential Learning in the Humanities and Social Sciences: Work-Integrated and Community Learning Pathways

Programs in the Humanities and Social Sciences are increasingly considering ways to offer experiential learning opportunities to students.  As more programs assess the possibilities and challenges, the Faculty is committed to facilitating conversations, sharing information, and developing supports. This first workshop in a series looks at some of the successful current initiatives in the Faculty, at a variety of scales and from a number of different disciplines and academic contexts.

Please join panelists Sarah Imran (Career Services), Heather Nelson (General Education), Nancy Ogden (Psychology), Celeste Pang (Women’s and Gender Studies), and Lori Williams (Economics, Policy and Justice Studies) with facilitators David Hyttenrauch and Kenna Olsen as we look at some success stories and the ways they can suggest future chapters.
